Angels are among us. They are scattered across the globe, living in our neighborhoods, observing humanity--the Earthian--in crisis...Chihaya and Kagetsuya have known each other since their days at school. They are friends...and possibly more. These two angels roam the world, compiling lists of the positive and negative traits of humanity. In the process they become involved in the lives of various humans, full of despair: An astronaut about to venture on a dangerous mission, a sorceress running from the mafia, and a mysterious artificially created human are just a few of those beings who Chihaya puts himself at risk to help, much to Kagetsuya's dismay. But after a meeting of angels, it is discovered that a dreaded disease is plaguing a growing legion of angels. Salvation possibly lies in the fallen angel Lord Seraphim--and as Chihaya and Kagetsuya search to find him, he turns up in the most unlikely of places...BLU proudly presents the much-anticipated classic boy's love series!

  Very interesting!!

The premise of the story is fairly interesting. Collective human actions are counted as either a "plus" or a "minus". Angels, called "checkers" go around counted these plus and minuses and should they count 10,000 minuses the world will be eradicated. For the 10,000 pluses, the humans, or "Earthians" can live.

Now, I'm not quite sure how this is being counted, since 10,000 should have been hit a loonnngg time ago, but in this story that's how they roll.

As for the characters, Kagetsuya and Chihaya, they're both pretty likeable. Their relationship is the classic strict and stoic paired with the klutzy and kind sort of pairing. They are angels, so homosexuality is a no-go for them, but there is plenty of room for imagination.

Essentially Kagetsuya and Chihaya go around meeting Earthians, and we get to see this little sneak peek into their current circumstances, which is then resolved with the help of the two angels. There is some background information included about Chihaya's and Kagetsuya's past in heaven(?) as well.

The story is told slightly out of chronological order, but if you pay attention, you'll be able to get what is going on.

The art is more old-styled. It does have a classic sort of prettiness to it, and I find it more or less enjoyable.

Overall, it's a good start to what seems like a fairly well-balanced series.
